Eldorado Institute launches mobile management 'made in Brazil'

The Eldorado Institute, specializing in the development of ICT solutions, based in Campinas, Sao Paulo, announces the first national solution MDM - Mobile Device Management (Mobile Device Management), called Easy Access Device Management, available for Android and systems Windows Phone.

According to Marcelo Henrique de Souza, manager of R & D Institute, the solution has three basic functions: monitoring, protection and control of mobile devices. "Our system administrator tells where each machine. This can be useful in case of loss or theft of the device, or even in terms of logistics, firing the employee who is closer to that location. The location can be made by aerial triangulation of mobile operators, or GPS signal strength of a Wi-Fi, "says Souza.

In case of theft, the system allows the device to be locked away and deleted the information, preventing their use and access to confidential data - this is the function of protection offered by Easy Access Device Management. "With regard to the control function, our solution allows the administrator to remotely install and uninstall applications, block or not installing particular application, to define which sites each user can access, make changes passwords, upgrade software versions, has a record of use, etc.. "said Souza.

The Easy Access Device Management also provides content management, as the distribution of digital content (eg, sending price lists, promotional materials, presentations, etc.). According to studies by IDC, by 2015, more than 1.3 billion people worldwide will use mobile devices to work, representing 32% of the population economically active.
